Qualifications

• Experience in Diabetic Eye Screening and retinal grading.
• Qualified or willing to work towards the CAVA assessor course in Diabetic Eye Screening.
• Ability to assess and grade in line with NHS Screener requirements.
• Knowledge of data protection and NHS information governance.

Responsibilities

• Grade patient retinal images and provide clinic support as required.
• Lead assessment process for screeners/graders within the team.
• Stay up to date with pathway changes and national guidance.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills within the grading team.
