Job summary

Medway NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Lead Resus Officer within the Division of Surgery and Anaesthetics to lead the resuscitation service and ensure alignment with Resuscitation Council standards.

You will coordinate extensive training for medical, nursing and other staff across adult, paediatric, neonatal and trauma resuscitation and work with external bodies to organise education for key groups within the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead the running of the resuscitation service ensuring the service meets the needs of users in line with Resuscitation Council standards.
• Support the Trust Deteriorating patient workstream.
• Coordinate the Trust wide training of medical, nursing & other staff in adult, paediatric, neonatal and trauma resuscitation at the appropriate level.
• Liaise with internal and external educational bodies to organise training for specific groups (Postgraduate Doctors in training, undergraduate medical students, student nurses, CSWs, AHPs)
