Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Head of Residential Property Conveyancing in Tamworth to lead and develop the existing department. The role requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, and a track record in residential conveyancing.

You will manage diverse high-value matters, mentor staff, and build relationships with lenders, agents, and referrers to support business growth. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are on offer.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, FCILEx, or Licensed Conveyancer
• Minimum seven years post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing
• Experience supervising or leading a residential property team
• Strong technical knowledge across residential conveyancing
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with business acumen

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of conveyancers, solicitors, and support staff
• Provide coaching and performance management for professional development
• Manage a portfolio of complex residential conveyancing matters
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards (CQS)
• Drive departmental performance, profitability and client relationships
• Contribute to strategic development of the residential property team
• Maintain high levels of client care from instruction to completion
