Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Research Nurse – Team Lead (Band 7) to lead the Research Delivery Team across multiple specialties and sites.

You will ensure studies are set up, conducted and closed in line with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements, while driving recruitment, data quality and safety monitoring. The role combines clinical leadership with staff supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an NMC-approved educational institution.
• ICH-GCP recognised training within the last 2 years.
• Post graduate degree in science or health science.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research delivery team across a diverse portfolio of clinical studies, ensuring setup, conduct, and close in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise patient recruitment, retention and study performance across specialties.
• Identify and address barriers to study delivery to meet targets and timelines.
• Allocate resources, manage workload and support staff development through supervision and performance management.
• Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, investigators and external partners to expand the research portfolio.
• Oversee patient-facing research activities including screening, recruitment, and follow-up.
