Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer in the UK to lead PI planning, ART ceremonies, and release governance across complex projects. The role requires coordinating across Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure value delivery and timely production releases.

The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage scope/risks, and maintain transparency with stakeholders while guiding teams toward faster, safer delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading PI planning and ART ceremonies.
• Strong coordination across PMs, Engineering, Operations, and customers.
• Proven ability to manage scope, risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Act as Release Train Engineer for the Agile Release Train.
• Own PI planning preparation, facilitation, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with Product Managers to capture features/enablers in Jira.
• Align priorities with PMs and respond to dependencies.
• Engage with customer stakeholders on PI priorities and sequencing.
• Maintain PI agenda and produce supporting slides for sessions.
• Schedule and facilitate PI events (primarily virtual).
• Produce PI-level reports highlighting commitments and risks.
• Analyse PI trends and drive corrective actions with teams.
