Not only have we created this technology, that is the winner of multiple awards including two Red Dot Design awards, Construction Innovation of the Year 2024 and multiple listings in Sifted Top 100 but we implement it on global construction projects worth hundreds of millions, sometimes billions, of pounds (or euros, or dollars)!

Since our inception in 2017, we have grown to over 100 staff and have raised over $50m in funding - but we are only just getting started.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and scale a high-performance React Native app for iOS.

  • Implement clean, scalable code using TypeScript and best practices.

  • Deliver high quality features with great attention to detail.

  • Optimise app performance, responsiveness, and stability for use in demanding on-site environments.

  • Work closely with native iOS (Objective-C/Swift) for low-level API where relevant.

  • Collaborate with Cloud and UX teams to ensure seamless integration.

  • Participate in regular code reviews and testing cycles.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with React Native and TypeScript.

  • Strong understanding of iOS app development, deployment, and debugging.

  • Experience working with native/turbo modules and bridging in React Native.

  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs.

  • Familiarity with low-level iOS APIs and device capabilities.

  • Experience building real-time and/or offline applications.

  • Solid understanding of app architecture (Redux, MobX, or Context API).

  • Ability to work independently and communicate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the construction, field service, or industrial IoT sector.

  • Familiarity with Xcode Instruments, performance profiling tools and App Store publishing process.

  • Familiarity with 3D engines.

  • Familiarity with Android development.
