Lead React.js, Node.js, Full Stack Engineer is required for a fast-growing Renewables scale-up revolutionising energy use and management across the UK. The company is transforming industries within GreenTech, including electrical vehicle charges and batteries, into an e-commerce digital experience for EV charging points, solar panels, wind turbines, and other renewable energy equipment.

Their expertise spans multiple teams, including product and supply chain, with a platform built on React.js, Node.js, Typescript at the intersection of innovation and sustainability, aiming to deliver the best distribution service in the nation.

As a Lead React.js, Node.js, Typescript Full Stack Engineer, you will develop and scale the platform's front-end, build and optimise APIs, handle large data volumes, and ensure high performance and security. You will also participate in stakeholder conversations and promote best practices like TDD, BDD, and CI/CD.

This role offers up to £95,000, quarterly bonuses, and other benefits.

The position is hybrid, requiring one day a week in the London office to collaborate with engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications using React.js, Node.js, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3
• Build and optimise APIs with REST and GraphQL for large-scale data operations and system integration
• Maintain and develop stakeholder relationships to inform application architecture
• Promote engineering best practices like TDD and BDD and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure platform reliability, performance, and security
