Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is looking for a DPE & Telecoms Engineer for a 12-month contract based in London, with about 60% on-site work at Stratford. The role focuses on delivering Network Rail High Speed systems, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance throughout design, construction and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will lead on approvals, monitor engineer competence, and align activities with CDM regulations and railway standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Implement Network Rail High Speed systems and procedures to deliver a safe, cost-effective approach to design, construction, and commissioning.
• Lead on approvals and consents required for the design and implementation of the projects.
• Monitor the competence of Project Engineers and provide guidance, direction, and briefing.
• Apply engineering controls and CDM regulations to design and construction activities.
• Advise management on construction activities, testing, and site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the duties of Designated Project Engineer (DPE).
• Arrange audits of contractors to monitor safety and quality of design, construction, testing, commissioning and management systems.
• Monitor whether design and construction elements meet legislation and railway standards.
