Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Manchester seeks an experienced signalling professional to lead safe delivery of signalling installation and construction works. You will drive programme execution, liaise with project teams, and optimise resources to ensure successful project outcomes.

Role requires IRSE licence, Construction Site Safety competence, and strong leadership. Travel to sites across projects may be required as part of your duties.

Qualifications

• Proven signalling installation and construction experience.
• IRSE licence with Construction Site Safety competence.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience planning and managing resources (labour, plant, materials).
• Willingness to travel and work away from home depot when required.

Responsibilities

• Leading the safe delivery of signalling installation and construction works, championing safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Driving programme delivery to meet timescales, quality and budget objectives.
• Coordinating signalling installation activities with supervisors and project teams to maximise outcomes.
• Planning and optimising resources and materials for project readiness.
• Developing site teams to ensure competent and safe performance.
• Supporting governance, reporting, and investigation/resolution of safety or operational issues.
