Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a long-term rail project in Glasgow. The role focuses on overseeing on-site electrical works, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery in a rail environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous electrical supervision experience, rail sector knowledge, and strong health and safety understanding. PTS is highly desirable and supervisory qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor / Chargehand / Site Supervisor
• Experience working within the rail industry
• Strong understanding of electrical installation and site supervision
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Ability to manage and coordinate electrical teams
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) – highly desirable
• SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification advantageous

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical teams and subcontractors on site
• Coordinating daily electrical activities and resources
• Ensuring works adhere to drawings, specifications and programmes
• Maintaining high health, safety and quality standards
• Liaising with site management, engineers and project teams
• Carrying out site inspections and monitoring progress
• Supporting the delivery of electrical installations within a rail environment
• Ensuring all works comply with rail and electrical standards
