We are looking for an outstanding Radiographer who has strong leadership qualities and is hardworking, flexible and highly motivated to join our busy friendly and supportive team; the successful candidates will rotate through all aspects of Radiotherapy treatment and pre-treatment CT located at Eastbourne General Hospital, becoming an integral part of our extensive multi-disciplinary team.

The Sussex Cancer Centre Are Taking Every Opportunity To Improve The Patient Experience By Expanding Our Services To Enable Our Teams To Work In The Communities Where Our Patients Live, Providing The Most Advanced Cancer Services Close To Their Homes, Therefore Currently The Eastbourne Radiotherapy Department Has a Mixed Portfolio Of Equipment. We Have Three Sites In Total

At Royal Sussex County Hospital, Elekta Precise & Synergy Platform Linacs, Flexitron HDR, Phillips Brilliance Big Bore CT with virtual simulation. At our first linked treatment facility within Brighton: two high spec Accuray TomoTherapy units at the Preston Park Radiotherapy Centre. At our second linked treatment facility in Eastbourne, East Sussex, we will be providing comprehensive cancer services using 2 Elekta Versa HD treatment units with FFF capabilities and a second CT scanner to support this service.

The radiotherapy service is registered to ISO 9001:2015 and we are developing our reputation as a centre of excellence in treatment and Radiotherapy Research Trials. The Centre is committed to patient involvement and service improvement. We are also keen to provide training opportunities for all staff.
