Job Summary

Applications are invited for the role of Lead Radiographer for CT at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and highly motivated diagnostic Radiographer with excellent communication, management, and leadership skills to provide professional leadership for the CT department across three sites: St James's, Leeds General Infirmary, and Seacroft CDC. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an efficient, safe, high-quality radiographic imaging service, line managing Team Managers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, and assistants, and reporting to the Head of Profession. Main Duties

The Lead Radiographer will oversee the professional leadership and management of all CT staff, act as the point of contact for advice and expertise, and be responsible for the care and professional practice within the radiography workforce. They must be a state-registered Radiographer with HCPC registration, working within professional guidelines and codes of practice. The role involves leading, developing, and managing resources (human, physical, and financial) across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with legal and national frameworks, and maintaining high standards of technical, clinical, and operational practice.
