Qualifications

• 5+ years of research experience in quantum computing, focusing on algorithms and applications.
• A degree in Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science is required; PhD is preferred.
• Experience with quantum algorithms and compiling in fault-tolerant regimes is desired.
• Experience with industry or academic partners to analyze real-world quantum applications is preferred.
• Proven teamwork with ability to work across departments and time zones; independent work capability.
• Programming experience in Python and C++ or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Propose and lead research on fault-tolerant quantum algorithms and applications.
• Collaborate with external partners to instantiate and optimize algorithms for diverse domains.
• Establish benchmarks and problem instances to validate quantum advantages.
• Guide simulation and resource analysis for fault-tolerant quantum implementation.
