Job summary

Glanua seeks a Managing Quantity Surveyor for its wastewater treatment portfolio in the UK. Lead commercial activities from tender through delivery, assess risk, and protect business interests with a focus on collaboration and integrity.

You will develop contract strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, manage final accounts, and monitor cashflow across projects, reporting to the UK Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably civil engineering.
• Honours degree in Construction/Quantity Surveying; Chartered status preferred.
• Competent understanding of contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, JCT, IChemE).

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial aspects of multiple programmes and projects within a team.
• Develop and implement project contract strategies and risk plans.
• Lead final account discussions and support dispute resolution.
• Ensure timely interim payments and accurate cashflow reporting.
• Collaborate with clients, delivery teams and finance to optimise outcomes.
