Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is representing a growing manufacturing business in Rochester seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to become the technical lead of the quality function. You will take ownership of the QMS, drive ISO 9001 compliance and oversee audits, supplier quality and customer complaints.

You will lead and develop the Quality team, drive continuous improvement across the business and shape quality strategy with autonomy and clear progression opportunities.

Are you a Quality Engineer, Quality Manager or experienced Quality professional looking to step into a senior position where you can take ownership of a Quality function?

This well-established business specialises in the design and manufacture of electrical distribution equipment for a range of demanding applications. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Quality Lead to strengthen their team and drive continuous improvement throughout the business.

In this varied role, you will lead and develop the Quality team while taking ownership of the QMS in line with ISO 9001. You will oversee audits, compliance, supplier quality and customer complaints while identifying quality risks and implementing improvements across the company.

This role would suit an experienced Quality Engineer, Quality Manager or Quality Lead looking to take the next step into a senior role with greater responsibility, autonomy and long-term development.
