Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Limited is seeking an experienced audit, governance and assurance professional to advance our compliance and risk management framework. You will plan, deliver and continuously improve audit activities, assess processes and controls, and collaborate with stakeholders to close gaps and drive assurance across the business.

Ideal candidates will hold a degree or equivalent, bring strong QA knowledge, and be a qualified Lead Auditor with IT literacy.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent experience in a technical/programme environment.
• Significant quality assurance knowledge gained within a technical or programme environment.
• Qualified Lead Auditor. IT literate with ability to analyse and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver audit, review, and assurance activities in accordance with approved plans and methodologies.
• Develop competence in risk-based auditing, evidence gathering, reporting, and corrective action follow-up.
• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to support assurance programme.
• Apply assurance activities to identify non-conformances and improvement opportunities.
• Support management and closure of corrective actions with process owners and stakeholders.
• Support development of other auditors and assurance personnel.
• Demonstrate expertise in assurance techniques, compliance requirements, and governance processes.
