Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join the Medicines Management and Pharmacy Services QA/QC team. The role focuses on leading the QC service for Microbiology, Temperature Monitoring/Control and Gas Testing, and coordinating the overall QC operations to drive continuous improvement.

• Significant experience in quality control and pharmaceutical/aseptic services.
• Experience leading quality assurance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to provide specialist QA/QC advice across preparative services.
• Strong patient-safety focus and commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of QC services for Microbiology, Temperature Monitoring/Control and Gas Testing.
• Coordinate overall QC service operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide specialist QA/QC advice across MMPS and external customers.
• Plan and manage projects to support improvements and validation strategies.
• Lead staff training and professional development.
