Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Project Quality Engineer to provide client-side QA/QC across construction, commissioning and handover of major UK battery energy storage projects. You will review ITPs, lead audits and manage non-conformances while supporting handover to Operations.

Travel to multiple project sites across the UK is required. The role reports to the QA/QC Manager and requires five years of QA/QC experience in construction, ISO 9001 knowledge and an engineering qualification

Qualifications

• Five years+ QA/QC experience in construction or energy projects.
• Experience inspecting and testing, audits, and corrective actions.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and Lead Auditor qualification.
• Engineering qualification at HNC/HND level or equivalent.
• CSCS card appropriate to role.
• Willingness to travel across UK for multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Review ITPs and witness points with contractor quality plans.
• Ensure inspections/tests are completed and recorded against plans.
• Lead site quality inspections and defect tracking.
• Plan and conduct quality audits across contractors.
• Raise and manage non-conformances and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain NCR register and quality records.
• Review contractor quality documentation and calibration records.
• Support site acceptance testing and handover documentation.
