Lead Python SQL Gen AI Software Engineer

Global Financial Services Business seeks a lead developer to play a key role in its technology and innovation strategy.

The successful applicant will join our delivery-focused and rapidly expanding team. The candidate will enhance the firm's data-driven decision-making abilities by utilizing the latest technologies and AI tools used by the broader business and the software development functions.

Execute the technology and innovation strategy to support the business's strategic growth by employing AI tools to derive commercial insights across a large set of structured and unstructured data and data sources. Enhance the existing technology ecosystem.

Key Skills required:

• Python: Strong skills in Python programming. Ability to build applications from concept to production and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle.
• Oracle Database: Proficiency in Oracle Database (SQL, stored procedures, etc.).
• Microsoft Azure: Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform.
• AI Tools: Demonstrable ability to create custom GPTs and Chatbots using AI Tools (we use Google Gemini API, Anthropics Claude AI, Microsoft CoPilot, and OpenAI's Chat GPT).
• Demonstrate a keen interest in financial products.
• Ability to manage user expectations and communication with stakeholders.
• BSc Technical Degree, ideally in computer science.
• Minimum 5 years+ of commercial experience.
