Job summary

RemoteStar is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a long-term contract role with a fully remote policy across European clients. This is a true self-starter position to build something from the ground up.

You will shape the product by leading the technical solution, develop end-to-end Python features, and address production issues promptly while upholding engineering excellence through testing and clean architecture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Python development experience.
• Experience with FastAPI is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM and prompt engineering is a plus.
• Prior startup experience is required.
• Go-getter, proactive problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall design and development of the technical solution, owning the technical strategy.
• Build end-to-end features (Python) from scratch.
• Resolve production issues with timely problem solving.
• Develop test infrastructures, write documentation, and ensure high performance.
• Follow development best practices (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, code reviews).
• Actively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
