Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking a Lead Python Engineer to join as a founding team member. You will own the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications, primarily with Python and TypeScript, and deploy on Azure.

Expect close collaboration with the founders and a hands-on, autonomous role shaping product direction. You will work in a hybrid setup with London and Cambridge, with flexibility to work from home and equity as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Degree educated with at least a 2.1 in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Proven strong Python development skills and ownership of projects.
• Experience building scalable cloud-native applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and modern web stacks.

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Work across full software lifecycle from architecture to deployment on Azure.
• Collaborate with founders to set engineering direction and practices.
• Lead frontend and backend work using Python and TypeScript.
