Job summary

Client Server in London is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own backend development with Python, FastAPI and Azure Databricks. The role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, guiding design, reviews and best practices across the team.

You'll work in a hybrid setup with three days in the London office and remote work. Salary to £110k + bonus, 25 days holiday, private medical insurance, life insurance, pension and more.

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor small to medium technical teams.
• Strong Python backend software engineering skills.
• Experience building FastAPIs.
• Good knowledge of Azure.
• Experience working with data at scale.
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server); Azure Databricks experience highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures and design patterns.
