Greene King’s Snooty Fox in Three Bridges seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager or Head Chef to take ownership of the kitchen, lead the team and place great food at the heart of a thriving community pub.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen in a busy pub or branded hospitality.
• Strong people-management and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team from the front, setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards.
• Take ownership of food quality, consistency and presentation across every service.
• Coach, motivate and develop the kitchen team, helping everyone perform at their best.
• Create a positive and well-organised kitchen environment.
• Ensure the kitchen operates safely, efficiently and in line with all food safety and health & safety requirements.
• Manage stock takes, ordering, stock rotation and wastage effectively.
• Work closely with the General Manager to drive the food offer and overall business performance.
• Ensure the kitchen is prepared for busy periods, sporting occasions, live music and key events.
• Help maximise sales through great food, consistency and excellent execution.
• Bring ideas and creativity to the kitchen while understanding what works for the local customer.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and compliance.
• Lead busy services with confidence and keep the team focused when the pressure is on.
