Job summary

The Bridge Inn in Linlithgow, part of Buzzworks Holdings, is seeking a Head Chef to own the kitchen, lead a vibrant team and deliver consistently brilliant food with energy and personality. You will drive performance, coach the team, manage GP and stock, and take pride in every plate that leaves the pass.

This is a hands-on role requiring leadership during busy services, a focus on quality, and a clear path for development within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen, preferably as Head Chef or senior Sous Chef.
• Strong people leadership and ability to coach and develop a team.
• Understanding GP, stock, labour and budgeting in a busy pub kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen operation, be hands-on during service, and uphold standards.
• Deliver high-quality food with consistent presentation and speed.
• Recruit, train and develop a strong kitchen team.
• Build a positive kitchen culture focused on learning and progression.
• Manage food GP, stock, wastage and ordering to control costs.
• Plan for busy services, events and seasonal trading.
• Ensure food safety and allergen compliance across the kitchen.
