Honeywell Aerospace in Bristol, UK seeks a Principal Systems Architect Engineer for Propulsion Control Systems. You will define the technical vision for propulsion architectures, lead MBSE adoption across programs, and ensure requirements are validated and traceable throughout their lifecycle in a hybrid work model.

You will mentor multidisciplinary teams of hardware, software and test engineers, address complex risk, lead technical reviews and support certification activities with regulatory

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience in aerospace or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
• Familiarity with DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A and applying them to system development.
• Proficiency with systems modeling tools such as SysML or MATLAB/Simulink for architecture and requirements management.
• Experience with requirements management software and system verification/validation processes.

• Architect and lead development of advanced aerospace system architectures using MBSE and ensuring standards compliance.
• Champion MBSE tool adoption (SysML, MATLAB/Simulink) for modeling, simulation, and requirements management.
• Oversee requirement validation, traceability, and verification from concept to delivery.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams on system architecture, MBSE, and validation best practices.
• Identify and resolve complex technical risks with innovative engineering solutions.
• Lead technical reviews and customer engagements, communicating architecture and validation status.
• Support certification processes and interface with regulatory agencies as needed.
