Job summary

Booker is seeking a Lead Promotions Coordinator to join the Watford team. You will guide the Promotions Coordinators, prioritise workloads, and ensure timely delivery of promotional activity while collaborating with Category, Trading, Finance and Operations.

You will develop and maintain pricing and master files, proofread marketing materials, and support budgeting changes. Strong relational and organisational skills are essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to Promotions Coordinators.
• Prioritise workloads and ensure activity is delivered on time.
• Create promotional deal sets with Category teams and load into SAP.
• Maintain pricing data and master files by deadlines.
• Proofread marketing materials and coordinate amendments with teams.
• Support Category Managers to deliver ad hoc promotions and requests.
• Assist with pricing changes from Chancellor's Budgets.
• Support Seasonal Pre-Sell campaigns with range and price files.
• Investigate and process overcharge queries when needed.
• Handle supplier invoice queries including advertising and gate fees.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Promotions Coordinator to join our team in Watford. This role is ideal for an experienced Coordinator, Team Leader or Supervisor looking to combine people support with hands on operational responsibility. As the most senior member of the Promotions Coordinator team, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation, helping to prioritise workloads, resolve issues, share knowledge and ensure promotional activity is delivered accurately and on time. Working closely with Category, Trading, Finance, Operations and other teams across the business, you'll help ensure promotional and pricing activity runs smoothly from initial set-up through to delivery. Alongside supporting and developing colleagues, you'll remain actively involved in the detail, helping to maintain accuracy, meet deadlines and continuously improve the way we work. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, building strong relationships and leading by example. You'll be comfortable getting into the detail when required while helping the wider team stay organised, focused and delivering high-quality results.

You will be responsible for

• Supporting, coaching and developing the Promotions Coordinators, providing day-to-day guidance and direction.
• Helping to prioritise workloads and ensure activity is delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Building promotional deal sets alongside Category teams and ensuring these are accurately loaded into SAP.
• Maintaining promotional master files and pricing data in line with agreed deadlines.
• Proofreading marketing materials, coordinating amendments and resolving issues with relevant teams.
• Working closely with Category Managers to deliver ad hoc promotional requirements and requests.
• Supporting the planning and communication of pricing changes resulting from Chancellor's Budgets.
• Providing input and support for Seasonal Pre-Sell campaigns, including range and price files.
• Investigating and processing overcharge queries where required.
• Supporting supplier invoice queries, including advertising and gate fees.

You will need
