Job description

In short

As a Lead - Project Manager, you'll lead complex, end-to-end projects focused on our distribution and logistics transformation in the Americas. You'll report to the Senior Director of Global Supply Chain Transformation, Distribution & Logistics on the Global Supply Chain team. This role is crucial for supporting strategic initiatives within the region, ensuring seamless collaboration between global and regional On teams and external 3rd party partners. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the scalability, cost-effectiveness, and operational resilience of our global logistics network, supporting On's continued growth and premium service delivery.

Your Mission

  • Build and execute detailed project plans and trackers, providing operational reporting and visibility for cross-functional strategic projects across the Distribution & Logistics portfolio for the Americas
  • Facilitate regular meetings with diverse stakeholders (supply chain, operations, finance, IT, commercial, etc.) to drive alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure meetings are structured to surface key issues, drive consensus, and support timely decision-making across cross-functional teams
  • Own the calendar, agendas, and follow-up actions for recurring project touchpoints, ensuring accountability and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement within distribution and logistics operations, translating complex problems into actionable solutions
  • Partner closely with IT and business resources to develop and automate reporting and support business processes, driving updates to existing reports to meet changing business needs
  • Support the creation of regular project updates and steering committee materials, clearly articulating project status and critical path to success
  • Participate in business case creation for key strategic initiatives, ensuring all decisions are supported by rigorous analysis
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships with Inventory Management, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Allocation, Order to Cash, Distribution Center Management, and other functional partners to ensure project success

Your story

  • You have 6+ years of experience in a project management, transformation, and/or analytics reporting role, ideally within a high-growth distribution and logistics environment or other relevant experience
  • You are adept at managing complexity, making sense of high-quantity, sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively, and proactively identifying underlying issues to deliver solutions
  • You are comfortable making decisions with input from others, prioritizing work autonomously, and providing thoughtful recommendations even when facing ambiguity
  • You optimize work processes, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in how things get done, from small tweaks to reengineering, always driving towards scalable improvements
  • You navigate uncertainty effectively, operating productively even when the way forward is not entirely clear, and making mindful decisions despite ambiguity, embracing new challenges and learning from both successes and failures
  • You demonstrate a self-starter mindset, proactively seeking business optimization and cost savings, and building data-driven business cases to support your recommendations
  • You possess strong knowledge of best practices within Project Management and are proficient with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics); experience with Python or SQL is a plus
