Job summary

Hill Group UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major residential development in South East London for our Special Projects region. You will oversee pre-construction to handover, manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensure safety, quality and programme, and liaise with clients and consultants.

This role requires a degree NVQ7 in Construction, high-rise residential track record, and Chartered membership.

Qualifications

• Degree or NVQ Level 7 in Construction.
• High rise residential and main contractor experience.
• Chartered membership of a professional body.
• CDM responsibilities and Principal Designer experience.
• Experience managing £30m+ and 500+ unit developments.
• Strong contract and programme management.
• H&S legislation and CDM knowledge.
• Experience with ASTA Power Projects.
• Client and stakeholder engagement capability.
• Commercial awareness and cost control.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead full design and buildability reviews to ensure delivery to spec.
• Champion CDM compliance and meet client/legal requirements.
• Chair subcontractor meetings and manage procurement to programme.
• Drive collaboration across estimating, commercial, design, client relations.
• Promote site pride and Hill's best-in-class delivery.
• Act as liaison with statutory bodies, clients, consultants.
• Mentor and develop the project team.
• Oversee construction phase safety plans, RAMS, and handover.
• Manage SnagR and site quality assurance implementations.
• Coordinate programme development and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure legal/contractual documentation is up-to-date.
• Maintain company standards in presentation and client engagement.
• Oversee delivery team including Site Managers, Surveyors, Technical, Buying.
• Prepare project reports and forward plans for Regional Director.
