Lead Project Manager – London Market Insurance | £125,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office)

We are partnering with a leading London Market insurance business that is looking to hire a Lead Project Manager to drive multiple business-critical transformation initiatives.

This is a permanent opportunity offering up to £125,000 base salary, plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role:

As Lead Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of strategic change programmes across business and finance domains. You’ll manage a team of project professionals and engage senior stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale change and finance transformation projects from initiation through to delivery.
  • Provide direct line management and leadership to project managers and analysts.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across business units to align goals and ensure delivery success.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, risks, and reporting across complex programmes.

Essential Requirements:

  • London Market insurance experience is mandatory – candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • Proven track record in leading complex change and/or finance transformation programmes.
  • Strong leadership skills with hands-on line management experience.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
