SSEN Transmission is seeking a Lead Project Manager to deliver the Banniskirk Hub within the ASTI framework, reporting to the Deputy Project Director. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams across civils, HVDC/AC substation and related packages, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.
The role requires travel to sites in the north of Scotland and involves managing complex contracts and external partners to support the energy transition and Net Zero ambitions.

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager to join our SSEN Transmission Delivery Team to deliver our Banniskirk Hub within our Pathway to 2030 Programme. Reporting into the Deputy Project Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple civils, HVDC/AC substation and wider stakeholder packages of works.
The Lead Project Manager is a pivotal and senior role in our Delivery team, whereby the successful candidate will play an important part in enabling the energy transition and supporting the Scottish and UK Government's Net Zero ambitions. This will include managing a multi-disciplinary project team and framework supply chain partners under the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) framework.
Due to the location and scale of the project, there is a requirement for the Lead Project Manager to travel regularly to our sites located in the north of Scotland (Thurso region).
