Overview

Were now looking for a driven Lead Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the success of our Strategic Resource Options Programme - a high-profile portfolio of critical projects. Reporting to the Programme Lead, the Lead Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of project managers to deliver complex large-scale engineering projects developing new sources of water which are vital to our future resource planning needs. Working in partnership with other water companies youll help to provide resilient water resources within Severn Trent, and across the UK as part of a forward-thinking and innovative national programme of major infrastructure projects. Youll be expected to work out of our offices in Coventry, Derby and other sites on our patch. Youll work within our Property Team. With this being such a critical role, were looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, WFH flexibility available and travel to other sites will be required at times so youll need to hold a full U.K driving licence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of project managers to deliver complex, large-scale engineering projects developing new sources of water.
  • Partner with other water companies to provide resilient water resources within Severn Trent and across the UK as part of a national programme of major infrastructure projects.
  • Work from our offices in Coventry, Derby and other sites on our patch; travel to other sites as required; be an active member of the Property Team.
Qualifications
  • Ideally degree qualified with relevant water/construction industry experience in project and programme delivery.
  • Forward-thinking and innovative leader capable of managing multiple major capital projects.
  • Experience of managing NEC projects, with a proven track record of cost planning and budgetary responsibility.
