Tedd Engineering Ltd is seeking a Lead Product Engineer to join our established team. With over 30 years of experience delivering cutting-edge electronic control systems for heavy machinery, we offer a dynamic and rewarding role.

You will act as the primary technical contact for customers during new and existing product development, translate requirements for electronics and embedded teams, and own products across their full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Specific Accountabilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during new and existing product development
• Work with customers to understand requirements, applications, and constraints
• Guide customers through the development process, ensuring clarity and alignment

Background and Experience

• Understanding of AC and DC control systems
• Experience in software development processes
• Exposure to manufacturing environments

• Structured, pragmatic, and focused on getting products right first time

This is a fully office-based position due to the hands-on nature of the work and access to lab and test equipment. Remote working is not offered for this role. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role due to travel requirements.
