JOB: Lead Project Engineer

LOCATION: Llandudno

TERM: Permanent

SALARY: £40,000 - £60,000 - Dependent on experience (please advise what you're looking for)

My client manufactures bespoke equipment products for multiple industries. They are looking for a Lead Project Engineer to join their team in Llandudno on a permanent basis.

Attributes:

1. HND/ Degree qualified in Engineering / a similar STEM subject
2. 4 or more years' experience in Senior Project Engineering from working in a similar role or environment
3. Experience with R&D
4. Experience managing and leading teams of Engineers
5. Experienced working in a highly regulated industry
6. Proficient with using MS Office
7. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
8. Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
9. Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
10. Able to work well alone as well as in a team

Responsibilities:

1. As a hands-on Project Engineer, you will be taking designs and implementing them
2. Leading teams on projects
3. Technical assessment, analysis and review of full lifecycle projects
4. Scheduling, cost and quality control
5. Line managing direct reports
6. Mentoring others
7. R&D of new projects and products
8. Communicating with customers to ensure specifications are met
9. Supporting the Project Manager
10. Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
11. Preparing the required project related documentation & drawings
