Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead and coordinate project controls across a portfolio of complex capital projects in London. The role requires strong knowledge of planning, governance, cost and risk management, and hands-on expertise with Primavera P3e, MS Project and Excel.

The contract role offers a daily rate of £490 Umbrella, Inside IR35, and a chance to influence project controls across high-value programmes.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Project Controls within major capital projects or programmes.
Strong knowledge of project controls, planning, governance, change control, cost and risk management.
Experience using scheduling and reporting tools such as Primavera P3e, MS Project and Excel.
Experience creating, adapting and monitoring project controls and integrated baselines.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience leading or managing Project Controls teams.
Recognised PM qualification, such as APM Professional.
Knowledge of SAP and PPM systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and maintenance of Project Controls processes across projects.
Develop and maintain integrated project and programme baselines.
Lead period-end processes including progress assessment and reporting.
Manage change control activities across projects.
Lead and support a team delivering high-quality project controls outputs.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders across complex, high-value projects.
Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
