Job Description:

Join The Compleat Food Group as a Lead Production Operative at our state-of-the-art food production site, where we craft delicious products. In this key role, you'll oversee production lines, ensure operational efficiency, and uphold the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities include coordinating team activities, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements to boost productivity. You'll work closely with the production manager to ensure our innovative products meet customer expectations. With your leadership and dedication to excellence, you'll help drive our mission to create sustainable, market-leading food options.

Key Duties:

• Supervise and support production team members
• Oversee daily production operations and schedules
• Conduct quality inspections and resolve issues
• Enforce health and safety regulations
• Maintain production records and prepare reports
• Train and mentor new and existing team members
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food production, preferably in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of food production processes and safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Flexibility to work on a 3-shift rotating pattern
