Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a Production Multi-Skilled Operative for a Newmarket-based role in food manufacturing. This permanent, full-time position offers a 2:00pm–10:00pm shift, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £13.81 per hour.

You will operate production machinery, perform quality checks, and assist with packing and stock movements. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, with a flexible approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing desirable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Pack and label products accurately.
• Support production lines to achieve daily targets.
• Complete basic machine set-up and changeovers where required.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the production area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with stock movements and material replenishment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and team leaders to ensure smooth operations.
