Symphony Talent supports more than 900 clients worldwide, including the world’s leading brands. Its headquarters are in New York, London, Bangalore, and Belfast, with over 300 multinational employees.

About the Team:

Symphony Talent’s Product Team is at the heart of delivering modern Talent Acquisition software to our clients - helping them drive innovation and ensure seamless hiring at scale. Every one of our features starts in the hands of Product and is crafted, planned and delivered with care & creativity. We’ve got a dedicated, creative team handling a wide scope of product areas, challenges and opportunities - if you have a passion for turning complexity into elegant, innovative solutions we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Lead Product Owner to play a pivotal role in driving product delivery across multiple squads. In this role, you'll not only own the execution of the product roadmap for key areas of our platform, but also lead and mentor a team of Product Owners - clearing roadblocks, keeping an eye on metrics and leading from the front to help them deliver to the highest standards.

Our Product Owners form the tactical side of the Product Team, focusing on how we design & deliver solutions that best align with the opportunities identified by the strategic side, our Product Managers. You will drive this team to further success, helping manage dependencies and promote collaboration across squads, ensuring on-time, high quality delivery.

Reporting to our VP, Product and sitting within the Product Leadership team, you will be a critical bridge between the strategic and the tactical, fostering close relationships between Product, Engineering and wider business teams and stakeholders. You will champion product excellence across the organisation through frameworks, processes and tools that elevate team performance and smooth the path to market for new features and products.

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  1. Product Ownership: own an area of the product suite - breaking high-level requirements down into detailed user stories, assessing feasibility and value, developing realistic delivery plans and ultimately overseeing projects through development to go-to-market preparation and launch.
  2. Product Leadership: coach, mentor, and develop a team of Product Owners, supporting their growth and ensuring alignment across squads. Act as the voice of your team within the Product Leadership group, maintaining close working relationships with Product Management.
  3. Product Operations: maintaining product operations best practice while supporting our VP, Product with delivery reporting, success tracking and rolling out improved processes to your team.
  4. Cross-team Coordination: help POs and engineering teams manage dependencies across squads, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely delivery. Develop great working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  5. Client-centric Mindset: act as an advocate for the client, internal stakeholders and business partners as it relates to product issues and improvements.

Essential Criteria:

  1. 5+ years experience working as a Lead Product Owner, Senior Product Owner, or Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment.
  2. Experience managing and mentoring other Product Owners or cross-functional product teams.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Proven stakeholder management skills.
  5. Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  6. A collaborative mindset with a passion for enabling others to succeed.

Desirable Criteria:

  1. Recruitment marketing technology experience.
  2. Experience with UX/UI design tools and prototyping.

BENEFITS:

  1. 25 days holiday, increasing by one additional day for each completed year.
  2. Competitive compensation.
  3. Great benefits package, including Pension, Private Healthcare & Utilities Allowance.
  4. Learning & growth programs.
  5. Open, collaborative culture.
