A leading company in digital healthcare is seeking a Lead Product Manager to enhance patient experiences and drive global growth. The ideal candidate will oversee product development, ensuring alignment with patient needs and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of collaboration within the team.
About ZAVA
We're on a mission to provide our patients with accessible and dependable healthcare at a fraction of today's cost. Our team of Doctors, Engineers, Customer Support Advisors, Marketers, Product Managers, UX Designers, Pharmacists, and Commercial and Operations Specialists works collaboratively to develop and maintain a digital healthcare platform that suits our patients' needs and schedules.
The pandemic changed our lives, requiring us to find flexible, remote and innovative healthcare solutions to meet our needs during challenging and changeable periods. Many of our patients turned to telemedicine as a convenient solution to getting their healthcare online from the comfort of their homes. By delivering a safe and efficient digital healthcare service, we've provided over 13 million consultations across the UK, Germany, France, and Ireland, enabling millions of people to have essential access to healthcare when they need it most.
It's our motivation to continue fulfilling their needs and to expand further to meet the needs of others, ensuring we're always there with the latest tech, treatments and advice. We're doing more than providing healthcare, we're enabling and empowering people by making healthcare work for them. We’re here because we care about healthcare, and we plan to be the largest digital primary healthcare platform for people across Europe.
About the role
Join ZAVA as a Lead Product Manager to help shape the future of our patient experience and support our international growth. You’ll work on the ongoing discovery, development, and improvement of our front-end and mobile web services — making it easier for patients to access the care they need. This role includes adapting and launching existing products and services in new countries, ensuring they meet local patient needs and regulatoryrequirements.
We're looking for someone passionate about MedTech innovation who can contribute to a compelling product vision, champion opportunities, and back decisions with data and insight. You'll drive a Patient-led approach to product development, serving as the voice of the patient across the business, with a keen eye on key market trends.
As a product expert, you'll engage in meaningful discussions with patients, key partners, and internal stakeholders, influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders to align with your product direction and methodologies. Your credibility and collaborative approach will be key in helping drive ZAVA's product growth and impact.
This is a hands-on player-coach role. You'll blend strategic thinking for new opportunities with tactical execution, translating high-level product strategy into actionable epics. You'll be a key resource for your Product Managers and Engineering Leads, ensuring cohesive development and continuous improvement for both ZAVA's patient-facing solutions and our essential internal systems.
Key Accountabilities
As a Lead Product Manager, you'll be pivotal in shaping ZAVA's patient experience and driving our global growth. Here’s how you'll make an impact:
Define & Deliver Vision: You'll collaborate with Senior Leadership and the Head of Product to translate the overall product strategy into a clear and actionable long-term vision for your product area/squad. You'll then be responsible for developing and managing the roadmaps for your diverse portfolio of services, ensuring alignment with broader company goals and patient needs.
Drive cross-functional collaboration: Build strong, collaborative relationships across clinical, marketing, technology, and commercial teams. You'll identify new opportunities, solve complex challenges, and ensure strategic alignment on priorities across the business.
Champion patient-centricity: Utilise advanced research techniques to uncover actionable insights. You'll ensure every decision prioritises an exceptional patient experience, actively advocating for a Patient-first culture across the leadership team.
Mentor & grow talent: Play a key role in developing our team by mentoring other product managers and fostering a high-performing environment. You'll also contribute to hiring decisions and succession planning for the broader product function.
Execute Strategic Trade-offs: Skillfully navigate complex trade-offs across a portfolio of products, balancing business outcomes, patient needs, and technical considerations in every decision.
Shape Product Culture: Champion best practices in product discovery, development, and agile delivery. You'll promote transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making at all levels, enhancing ZAVA's product culture.
