Qualifications

• Degree level education in Mechatronics, Electrical or Automotive Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of wiring systems and relevant tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and achieve cost, deadline, and performance targets.
• Manage technical tasks and lead a team of at least 3 employees.

Skills

Knowledge in Architectures and bus systems

Job description

Location: Leamington Spa and Customer Site in Surrey

Area: E/E wiring system

Within the group, we are over 9000 employees located across the world whose core business is to provide engineering solutions to major automotive companies and their suppliers.

We are looking for a LEAD Product Engineer for E/E wiring system to join the team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our continuing expansion. This role is based in the heart of the automotive industry at EDAG's facilities in Royal Leamington Spa.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project coordination
2. Achievement of the required cost, deadline, and performance targets (incl. Quality)
3. Creating status and decision slides for committees (Committee Management)
4. If necessary, deviation from SOW claims (Claim Management)
5. Define and interpret risks and derive measures (Risk Management)
6. Communication and involvement of all relevant persons (Stakeholder Management)
7. Support in preparing quotations for 2&3D topics
8. Administrative Coordination
9. Structuring and planning all 2&3D tasks
10. Delegating 2&3D tasks
11. Monitoring of all 2&3D tasks
12. Documentation and reporting of all 2&3D tasks
13. Professional management of the 2&3D tasks of at least 3 employees
14. Check and release hours in SAP
15. Technical coordination
16. Technical leadership for all 2&3D tasks
17. Technical management of at least 3 employees
