Rightmove in London is seeking an experienced Lead Product Designer to lead the Experience Design team for Move & Home. You’ll guide three Product Designers, shape the design vision, and collaborate with product and engineering leaders in a hybrid role.

You’ll contribute hands-on work where valuable, maintain high craft standards, and help drive design-system adoption. Join a leadership team shaping long‑term domain strategy and business outcomes.

• Proven experience leading product design teams.
• Strong craft and judgement.
• Experience with design systems and scalable patterns.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing your team, setting clear goals and giving continuous feedback while supporting their growth and development.
• Holding a high bar for design craft and quality across your team's output.
• Setting the standard for design system contribution and adoption, driving consistency and reuse.
• Informing the strategy and direction for your domain, weighing risks, trends, and trade‑offs, and connecting design decisions to business goals.
• Staying fluent in relevant commercial metrics, showing how design decisions can move them.
• Conducting strategic research to shape product direction and articulate user problems and opportunities.
• Influencing decisions across levels and disciplines without formal authority, communicating clearly.
• Championing inclusive and accessible design, and representing XD externally.
