Job summary

Digitas UK is seeking a Lead Product Designer with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong product thinking. You will lead design across significant client engagements, moving from understanding the problem to prototyping, delivery and optimisation.

You’ll partner within Product, Design and Tech trios, shaping what we build while balancing customer needs, business value and feasibility. Expect mature AI-enabled workflows and a focus on craft.

Qualifications

• Exceptional product design craft across interaction, UX and visual design.
• Experience leading complex digital products from discovery to delivery.
• Proven ability to influence product direction within triads (Product, Design, Tech).
• Strong evidence-based product thinking using research and data.
• AI-enabled design practice improving exploration and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and experience design across major client engagements from discovery to delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to frame problems and trade-offs.
• Translate insights and business objectives into distinctive product experiences.
• Map end-to-end journeys with crafted flows and prototypes.
• Use research and data to validate ideas and improve the experience.
• Work with Developers to maintain quality and intent during delivery.
• Lead AI-enabled design workflows while maintaining craft and judgement.
• Run workshops and present design recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and inspire other designers to raise thinking and execution.
• Create and evolve scalable design systems and advocate accessibility.
