You will build robust data pipelines, apply statistical methods, and collaborate with product and customer teams in a fast-moving startup environment. A hybrid model with weekly London office visits is preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant data science experience at a lead/staff level.
• Experience building robust data pipelines.
• Fluency in SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods.
• Background working in a startup or fast-moving tech environment.
• Experience working close to the product or customer side of the business.
• Ability to solve data puzzles and turn SQL queries into clear conclusions and next steps.
• Strong product mindset and pragmatic approach.
• Ability to make tradeoffs and move quickly to deliver product and business impact.
• Expert communication skills.
• Ability to work in a partially customer-facing role.
• Confident use of AI to improve day-to-day efficiency while maintaining high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Talk to customers and align on success criteria and measurement
• Use raw, real-world data to form clear, actionable insights
• Optimise agent performance for each onboarded customer
• Own the optimisation flow from identifying opportunities through testing hypotheses, running experiments, delivering improvements, and demonstrating value
• Analyse data at a granular level and develop and test robust hypotheses
• Work across multiple teams and functions to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver outcomes
• Own work end to end and scope independent initiatives
• Turn ad hoc analyses and findings into scalable self-service tooling for teammates and customers
