Stellar Entertainment Software in Guildford is seeking a dynamic Lead Producer to own production across a new AAA title. You will lead and mentor a team of Producers, manage budgets, timelines, and cross-discipline collaboration with designers, artists and engineers to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Lead Producer, shipping multiple full game lifecycles, ideally AAA.
• Strong background in game production, project management or developer management.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong people management and client-facing experience.
• Experience mentoring or line-managing Producers.
• Experience owning budgets and resourcing decisions.
• Able to assess the competitive landscape and articulate what 'good' looks like.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey project status clearly.
• Motivate and align teams across departments; exceptional organisational skills.
• Strong creative instincts for gaming and genre awareness.
• Familiar with Jira/Trello/Monday and game engines Unity/Unreal.

Responsibilities

• Champion the game vision and align with project goals.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of Producers.
• Stay up to date with competitor titles and critiques.
• Own production pipeline strategy end-to-end across workstreams.
• Collaborate with designers, artists and engineers on features.
• Oversee daily stand-ups; track progress and communicate status.
• Break projects into milestones with clear deadlines.
• Create and maintain project plans and reports for leadership.
• Identify risks and craft mitigation strategies.
• Represent production in publisher and stakeholder discussions.
• Facilitate sprint planning and ensure agile processes are followed.
• Monitor project metrics and drive process improvements.
• Own budget and headcount decisions in partnership with leadership.
