What will you be doing as our new Lead Process Engineer?

As a Lead Process Engineer, you will provide technical direction to discipline engineers in water treatment and supply projects. Your role involves supporting design for water schemes, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver value, on time, within budget, and with quality.

You will review process design deliverables, coach junior engineers, and ensure procedures are followed.

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with senior team members to review project designs and schedules.
2. Mentor and develop less experienced team members.
3. Promote sustainable and low-carbon design practices.
4. Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and company policies.
5. Review technical drawings, models, and calculations for quality and safety.
6. Verify process documentation and develop lessons learned.
7. Support framework procurement with technical expertise.
8. Conduct site visits as needed.
9. Share lessons learned and innovations with the team.
10. Embrace digital technologies for 3D modeling.
11. Support carbon reduction and natural capital initiatives.
12. Maintain technical awareness and disseminate knowledge within the team.

Skills, experience, and behaviors:

Applicants should hold an Engineering Degree or equivalent, with relevant experience in water-sector projects or design-build environments. Chartered status or active pursuit is preferred. Proven mentoring skills and experience in water assets are essential. This role suits enthusiastic, driven engineers eager to contribute and grow within a leading alliance.
