An established industry player is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join their Net Zero Energy Business. This role involves guiding process engineering teams on exciting projects aimed at delivering sustainable energy solutions. You will be responsible for technical delivery, client collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers. If you are passionate about leading projects that contribute to a carbon-free future, this opportunity offers a flexible working environment and the chance to make a significant impact in the energy sector.
We are looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join our growing Net Zero Energy Business. This position would be based around AtkinsRéalis process engineering hubs of central Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Bellshill offices), Bristol or Stockton, with a flexible mixture of home-working and office collaboration time expected. We also welcome applicants wishing to work part-time.
Are you an experienced process engineer who thrives on guiding others? Are you drawn to exciting projects and motivated by the opportunity to provide leadership and guidance to process engineering teams?
As a Lead Process Engineer in our Net Zero Energy Business, we are looking for someone versatile; you could be working on several small projects or overseeing several process engineers to deliver a multi-discipline project.
You will enjoy heading up process teams with a client-focused approach. You will have the drive to improve our capabilities and deliverables. You will be able to effectively delegate tasks and quality check the technical calculations and reports of others. You will have a strong awareness of the commercial aspects to project delivery such as project timescales and change control.
You will enjoy working at various levels of process design, from concept studies and front-end engineering to detailed design. You will be experienced in front end engineering delivery (FEED) and have a drive to continually improve our methods and standards.
If you can deliver projects, collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver right-first-time solutions for the most challenging problems in the Net Zero industry, then we would love you to apply. We are currently delivering a portfolio of projects spanning energy storage, industrial decarbonisation, and across the hydrogen value chain.
Our flexible and remote working policies are designed to help you get the most out of life. When you join us, you'll be part of a genuinely collaborative environment where everyone's voice is valued and treated equally.
