Job summary

NRL in North Wales is seeking a Process Commissioning Engineer for a 12-month, on-site contract on a major EPC project. You will lead process commissioning activities, ensuring systems meet design specs and safety standards while coordinating with engineering and construction teams for smooth handovers.

The role requires proven commissioning experience with industrial or EPC projects, strong P&ID interpretation skills, and excellent communication to resolve issues and document progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in process commissioning within industrial or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of process systems and commissioning methodologies.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning activities for process systems on-site.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams during handover stages.
• Perform functional tests and verify system readiness for operation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning phases.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting.
