Kier Group plc in Colchester is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the design team across a broad range of construction projects, delivering safe and buildable engineering solutions. You will mentor colleagues, drive technical excellence, and liaise with clients to ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Based in the Kier Design team, you will work with a 100-strong group on diverse portfolios and contribute to industry best practice while supporting business development

Formación

• Experience leading complex construction engineering projects.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring.
• Proficient in temporary works design, value engineering and design management.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and consultancy services including temporary works design, bid support, and value engineering.
• Manage projects from remit development through completion with technical compliance.
• Oversee engineers and staff, contribute to design deliverables and quality.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to colleagues.
• Represent Kier to clients and stakeholders and support business development.
