Job summary

Moreton Capital Partners is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to lead its prediction markets strategy. You will oversee the investment process end-to-end, from idea generation to live execution, and collaborate with a global team of traders, quants, and engineers.

You will be accountable for P&L and risk, define MCP's edge across market making, arbitrage, and event-driven signals, and mentor junior traders while partnering with research and infra teams to scale its systems and data-driven

Qualifications

• Significant live P&L management experience.
• Edge in prediction markets or event-driven trading.
• Strong quantitative foundation in probability and statistics.
• Experience mentoring junior traders.
• Undergraduate or postgraduate in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Own the prediction markets P&L and set strategy.
• Lead full investment process from idea to execution.
• Build and manage a team of traders and analysts.
• Define and evolve MCP's edge across strategies.
• Work with engineering on infrastructure.
• Contribute to investor reporting and capital raising.
