Job summary

Shooting Stars Nurseries Bromsgrove is seeking an experienced Early Years Room Leader (Level 3) to lead the Pre-Toddler Room, coach staff, and drive high standards of care and education in a welcoming nursery setting.

You will manage daily operations, mentor practitioners, build strong relationships with families and ensure safeguarding and welfare are prioritised in line with EYFS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience as a Room Leader or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Sound safeguarding responsibilities and welfare practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Pre-Toddler Room.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of practitioners and students.
• Act as a Key Person and build relationships with families.
• Plan and oversee activities in line with EYFS.
• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Promote inclusive practice and support additional needs.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.
