Cornerstone in North Lanarkshire is seeking a Lead Practitioner to manage and inspire a team of Support Practitioners in a 25-hour, fixed-term maternity cover role.
You will deliver person-centred care, develop young people’s independence and skills, and work with the Service Lead to ensure high standards and compliance with the SSSC Codes.
A full UK manual driving licence is required, and SVQ Level 7 in Social Services & Healthcare or PDA in Health & Social Care Supervision is expected.

As a Lead Practitioner, you’ll lead, support and inspire a team of Support Practitioners, ensuring they deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
You’ll provide guidance and mentorship to your team, helping them support young people to develop confidence, independence and practical life skills, while working alongside our Service Lead to ensure the service operates effectively and within agreed requirements.
For this opportunity we will need you have a full UK manual drivers licence.

You’ll bring:
As a Lead Practitioner, you will work 5 out of 7 days. There may be occasions where we will need you to be flexible to work evenings, sleepovers, waking nights and weekends due to the needs of our services. On call duties will also form part of your role on a rotational basis.
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
